LAMU SILK & COTTON KAFTAN IN OCHRE

This exquisite kaftan is made from traditional hand loomed fabric produced at a community weavery in India that Alex and Barry visited a few years ago. The fabrics are woven and dyed especially for us and we craft them into these gorgeous pieces in our Cape Town studio. We let the beauty of the fabrics speak for themselves by cutting them as little as possible, and keep the gorgeous gold selvage as a lovely detail in the armholes and the side slits.

Wear it as a glamorous dress with a slip underneath and a belt in the waist, or, as a sheer cover up on the beach or around the pool at home. This is a truly special piece.

Please note that every piece of fabric is hand made and dyed and that you kaftan will be unique; very similar to the one in the photographs but not look exactly like it. Embrace the beauty of the artisanal!
